DayFlow privacy

Privacy Policy

DayFlow is a planning app for tasks, reminders, recurring routines, task sharing, billing, browser notifications, and optional email suggestions. This page explains what information DayFlow uses and why.

Information DayFlow stores

When you create an account, DayFlow stores your name, email address, encrypted password, subscription status, and planning data such as tasks, notes, reminders, recurring tasks, completed tasks, inbox items, settings, and Pro feature preferences.

Optional Gmail connection

If you choose to connect Gmail, DayFlow requests read-only Gmail access so it can find emails that may be useful to turn into tasks. DayFlow does not send, delete, archive, label, or modify your emails.

DayFlow may process email metadata and snippets such as sender, subject, received time, Gmail thread ID, and a short preview. This is used to show recommended email cards inside your DayFlow account and to avoid creating duplicate tasks from the same Gmail thread.

How Gmail access is protected

Gmail access tokens are stored on the server and encrypted. They are linked only to the DayFlow account that connected Gmail. Other DayFlow users cannot access your Gmail connection or your email suggestions.

Disconnecting Gmail

You can disconnect Gmail from inside DayFlow. Disconnecting removes the stored Gmail connection for your DayFlow account and stops DayFlow from loading further email suggestions.

Notifications and billing

If you enable browser notifications, DayFlow stores the browser subscription needed to deliver reminders and task-sharing updates. If you subscribe to Pro, billing is handled by Stripe and DayFlow stores subscription identifiers needed to unlock Pro features.

Data sharing

DayFlow does not sell your personal information. Data is shared with service providers only where needed to run the app, such as hosting, Stripe billing, Google OAuth/Gmail access when you connect Gmail, and browser push delivery.
